The Needed Support

Government agencies have the core competencies. Yet they don’t have everything. There may be situations where more support is needed to get certain tasks done.  One company was created to provide some form of needed support for government entities as well as private organizations.

SIG was formed in 2008 and based in Fairfax, Virginia. It was created with a specific vision: to build an organization of resources and capabilities for a range of commercial, financial, cyber, and other disciplines.   The company’s focused objective was to integrate these essential modern skill-sets with existing mainstream approaches to national security challenges, creating a unique offering of non-traditional support solutions.

The services the company provides include Operational Support – concentrating on customized and non-traditional support initiatives. All-source Analysis – focusing on financial intelligence operations and complex counterterrorism, counternarcotics, and counterproliferation targeting support throughout every region in the world. Training – over a wide range of discipline, like surveillance/surveillance detection/counter-surveillance, etc. Language and Cultural Services – having cleared linguists specializing in multiple linguistic disciplines. IT Support-offering strong technical expertise with deep knowhow of operational, analytic, and linguistic tradecraft.  Support Solutions – including logistics, communication, and construction management.

With the company growing over 2000 percent the past three years and 60 percent of the growth organic, it has proven that a specialized high skill-set organization can be a viable private enterprise in engaging the government.
